Szkola Podstawowa nr 58 im

We are a Primary School No 58 in Poznan, a university city. There are 560 students at the age from 7 to 15 in our school. They come from different backgrounds. There work 45 teachers. Children learn the English language from the first grade and the German language from the seventh grade. Our students learn foreign languages with a great pleasure.

We get in touch with young people from the EU, visit new countries and improve foreign languages knowledge. Thanks to participating in this project we will show our culture diversity, customs like sharing the wafer at the Christmas, tell about our beautiful cities, Poznan, Cracow, Gdansk, Torun and of course Warsaw. We would like to tell about our Nobel Prize Winners in Literature Wisława Szymborska and Czesław Miłosz, and also present our national dance e.g. Polonaise, cracovian and tell about our monuments.

Our school has very talented, open and inclinable teachers. Students are friendly incredibly apt. The entire school society can learn foreign youth from other countries things such as polish language, culture, lifeway, local legends and traditional polish cuisine.
